| Of course squire! Just about to draw numbers now!
EDIT: The raffle video has been recorded! It may be a while on uploading though... It's about 15 minutes long! If it's not up before I leave tonight to go watch the Rumble, I'll just post the numbers in here and the wrestling thread. |

| If this goes well and no reason it shouldn't & the world cup football one was also fairly popular.
Would anyone be interested in either or both the Rugby World Cup which we (England) are hosting, I'm not a big rugby fan but being here & some games only about 30minutes away from me & likely the same for most of you . I feel it could be something that we could do and might help you if someone is talking about the England v Wales game for instance at work.
The other sporting event that also only happens every 4 years but might be slightly less popular unless England get far is the Women's Football World Cup which Canada are hosting. This I feel more of you will kinda know about due to it being football (how you play it compared to rugby) but lacks that quality of the Rugby World Cup which in general will be more talked about. |

| Cricket ODI world cup. Do the numbers mean anything at this stage? Do they apply to certain wrestlers or something? |

| Not yet Balla, as I'm watching I've got my numbers with me and I will know who goes with which number.
I don't know about the ODI I think it falls in to the same category of the women's world cup, some will talk if England does well. |

(Wikipedias "Roman Reigns") After last night you are probably one of the very few who believes that. (him winning didn't go down well at all) |

| Talking about work isn't really my scene, but I've just retaken a test that I had no faith in ever passing after the first time and passed it! The relief I feel at knowing my job is now way more secure is ridiculous I'll now return to game talk. |

| Update on my life - I finished my contract job in mid December and it looked good for a full time job this year. Unfortunately, things change. My boss was a great supporter of mine and was working hard to keep me on, but alas, she was made redundant herself, the company cut costs and that was that. Such is life. So I am back in the job hunting market. Fortunately I have low debt and can live on the $35K plus other benefits the government pays me to stay home (including a disability pension for Debbie). Not that I want to, first time in my life I have ever collected benefits, after a lifetime of paying taxes, Not a lot of jobs around, but it appears I might have a casual job that should give me about 15-20 hours a week, which would be nice - better than welfare. I did an interview last week for a full time job and I find out tomorrow if I am still in for that; I was in the last 5 and they may narrow that down to two for a second interview. Considering it was my first interview for a while, I thought that I did well; you get a sense pretty quickly during it and I didn't feel I said anything I regret. However, I am not even slightly confidant of getting it, for reasons not worth mentioning, but each interview is a great learning experience no matter what and proof I can still get to the pointy end of getting an interview. I know this may sound sad, but the reality is at 54, I am not interested in busting a gut until I retire in 10-15 years, so I would rather have a good life/work balance - spend more time with Debbie. Work is a means to an end, not the end itself. At least I have more gaming time. Oh, and I had to lose my hippy, beach bum look to look for a job, so I transformed myself from this: " /> To a more mature look: " /> What do you prefer - business like or hippy? |

Jo and I are going to Chester for a couple of days. Should be good - Chester is a lovely little place. @oldschool: I prefer the bottom pic, to be honest, because in it you look exactly like the guy who sits opposite me at work. |

D'aww! That's an adorable statement. I wish you luck, Brett. And I hope you find something you enjoy doing. Lord knows, I wish I still did a job I enjoy turning up to. |

There is a big part of me that wishes I didn't have to conform, because the reality is, we all have to in some way. Truth is, I like money, it buys me things I like and it is amazing what how much we all conform in some way to earn it. ZeroJones, how lucky are you to get to look at me (sort of) all day. Stu, do any of us really enjoy going to work that much? If not for the money, would any of us go to work? I know we can make a lot of friends through work, but if I had the choice, I would go to University for the rest of my life; people to talk to and learning - I love learning. |

Sadly, I know one or two people who are obsessed with work. Me personally, though: I'd much rather socialise, socialise, socialise, man. Seven-day weekend. |

I don't understand people who spend ridiculous hours at work, treating it as life itself. I am not much of a socialiser, in fact the opposite is true, I don't like many people at all and prefer my own company after the company of Debbie, but I love a good debate with people who have some knowledge and don't take opposite views personally. I think I just need to find 'my' people. |
