My family were Church of England ....... you know, the church you have when you don't have a church, the church for those not particularly into God. Luckily I was never baptised as my family weren't super religious. I say luckily as I am so petty, if I knew I had been baptised, I would have searched for a ceremony that unbaptises you. Speaking of parents bringing their children up to believe what they believe, I remember being verbally attacked for taking my children to protests, you know, the left leaning ones. Anyway, they would say something like, "is that their view or are you just forcing your view on them?". I woud reply by asking them if they were parents and religious, leading to the obvious conclusion, "is that their view or is it just you imposing it on them?" If they weren't religious, I would just substitute it with a sport. Most were too stupid to understand they are the same thing; we all bring our children to believe in what we do, it is called parenting. If we don't, then what is the point in being a parent. |

| My grandmother's very Catholic so I was baptised. My mother is no more religious than me but she was only 21 at the time so I guess she just went along with it. Neither my brother nor my sister were baptised though. |

I typed in crying gif and all I could see that I recognise was a character in Supernatural (I think) and James Van Der Beek (I assume from Dawsons Creek). No Vampire Diaries to be seen. You paid Athrun to back you up didn't you? Are you going to bring the banhammer down on me |

Because it's fun. I'm going to quite happily take the Bank Holidays around Easter weekend, too. |

Because it's Christmas, and it's long passed being a religious holiday. |

| All bow down to the all mighty dollar,
at work we only close Christmas day & Easter Sunday now because there religious holidays, so someone still thinks that it's a religious holiday but myself I think it's now a tradition thing and just something you do. |

| Because I'm actually a strong believe in the ancient pagan gods so I always observe Saturnalia. But no, like people have said, its about tradition more so than religion. Even if everybody stopped believing in God tomorrow, we'd all still have Christmas. |
