| A haircut and a little known sci-fi novel called Dune that after years of being badgered about how good and ahead of its time it is I've ordered, was going to order more of Star Wars' New Jedi Order series but I need a break.
Oh, and half of a certain game console. I expect to bring it home in 14 days. |

| Pitch Perfect 2, on Blu-Ray. Before mas accuses me of not wearing trousers in my own home, or something, it is pretty funny. Just not quite as funny as the first, which is brilliant (in my humble, unsubtle and often wrong opinion). |

| Good haul in Barnardos today, with Capcom Vs. SNK 2, Star Wars: Rogue Leader and, er, Lemony Snicket on GameCube for 99p each...
...and in British Heart Foundation, Dancing Stage: Mario Mix (GameCube), Marvel Ultimate Alliance (360), and Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia for another 99p each...
...and then in British Red Cross, Frozen: Olaf's Quest and Penguins of Madagascar on 3DS for - yes! - 99p each. |

| I can already taste the awesomeness. In other news operation Certain Game Console has been put on hold due to an unforeseen budget problem. Only another 14 day wait, but still annoying after I'd laid the groundwork so perfectly for it in this budget. Such is life. |

| Whilst a EGX, I only bought Halo: Nightfall on Blu Ray oh and expensive food.
But today whilst in town, I picked up a PlayStation TV for £25, as may not of known I sold my VITA awhile ago as I just wasn't playing it, same can almost be said about my 3DS but that remains as I know I want Fire Emblem Fates along with a few other games coming.
I've never been a handheld person and the games I do want to play from the VITAs library are pretty much console like and with Jay & Athrun talking Persona 4 and Metal Gear Solid this was the cheapest option to play them and on a TV which I will prefer. |

| So I hear this Musical Thrones show is pretty popular, me and someone else I know deciding not to be out of the loop have bought this to find out what it is. I'll admit I've been apprehensive about this for a while since I'm a bit of a wuss when it comes to violence. All I know about the show is there's a helluva lotta death, sex, and that it's really popular, so we'll see how this goes. |

| I think the "Game of Thrones is full of rampant orgies and mutilation" is a little bit overblown. It's certainly a part of it, but I'd characterise Game of Thrones as being cleverer than that.
Have you been spoiled on anything about the series so far Athrun? |

| Nah, completely blind besides vague things like the violence and sex and the blurb on the back of the set. I do recall something about some character dying or something, but I've zero knowledge besides "a big character dies at some point in the series!", which honestly is probably about as big of a spoiler as saying a character dies in Attack on Titan when it's completely ambiguous. |

| You'll enjoy it a lot more going in completely blind. I hadn't read the books before I saw the first season, so it was totally shocking to me. Let us know how you get on! |

| Double post, but picked up this in town today for £20. Couldn't believe it when I saw it on the shelves on CEX - same price as the standard edition. I was planning to wait on the inevitable GOTY edition, but decided this was too good to pass up. |

| Nice buy, Jay! Is that just an art book? Also maybe it's time to invade people on bloodborne. |

| Yeah, just an art book Jas, but some gorgeous drawings inside it. I'll probably play it when the expansion comes out - MGSV will be dominating the foreseeable future, and then there's Fallout 4 at the start of November. |

| Aye that definitely makes the most sense as I'm still not sure how they will be delivering this expansion, the dark souls approach or just the standard way where you load it up separately. (when you do start it if any bosses are giving you trouble just geez a shout as I'd gladly help) |

| At £20 I might have to give Bloodborne another go or Dark Souls II if cheap. |

| I bought this a while ago but only just came through the post today That's a NEW Dreamcast game that cost €2.99 + Postage, which takes me to 210 unique games on the system with 4 preordered/kickstarted with one not coming in till 2017 (I think). I've played the game a bit, I will review it for Gintendo. |

| Not yesterday - two days ago - but I was unable to post it up because of a busy day at work. So, I bought the EDGE top 100 videogames special mag. The weird thing is that I got it from WH Smiths with a chocolate bar - and the chocolate was more expensive than the mag. - Spoiler:
I only found reason to disagree with the opinions in the mag when I came across Puzzles & Dragons in the low 70's, which I loathe.
