| Two copies of Inside Out: one for us and one for my parents for Christmas. Ace film. And there's another ace Pixar film: Up. |

| Good to see, Athrun. I'm finding myself more and more tempted by a Wii U these days too. Gotta rebuy that 3DS first though. |

| Cheers guys, really liking the system so far! Its got that typical nintendo charm to it that you just don't get on other systems, feels all cozy and nice.
I'll definitely get to Splatoon eventually, alas it turns out my internet isn't as bad as I originally thought and I've been getting relatively input lag free matches on Smash's for glory. Completely addicted.
And you can't go wrong with the 3ds Jay, fantastic line-up on that thing with a ton of great first and third party exclusives. |

| Looks like we will have a good 6 months for the Wii U from the direct and library is decent, hopefully our vote will help.
On what I bought as I know Cappa bought something big today, I'll get mine out the way.
I normally don't post about digital but using my USA PSN account + 10% off voucher code & buying a $50 voucher for £34 that I got with it in the black Friday deals Witcher III & Transformers Devastation and as I had about $5 more to spend the character skins for TranDev.
I don't think that's a bad lot two games for like £16 each & £2 for DLC |

| I bought a shiteload of stuff last week. Wish I'd taken a photo of it all before going back up north for work, but ach well. I decided to get a 500GB PS4 with Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, FIFA 16, LittleBigPlanet 3, DriveClub and 12 months of PS Plus for just under £300. For a long time I wasn't really sure how much I wanted or needed one, but I feel that the Wii U doesn't seem to have much left to offer and I don't want to be waiting around like a complete fud for the NX like I was the Wii in the (lean) GameCube days ten years ago. I thought the deal I got - while not the best - was a good use of the GAME credit that I'd been accumulating since the start of the summer. I picked up Rocket League too, because it's Rocket League, natch. It's not all doom and gloom on Wii U though, as I got... Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival. Otherwise, I did well out of GAME's '3 for 2' pre-owned offer, picking up NPC Pikmin 2 (Wii), Project X Zone (3DS) and Tank! Tank! Tank! (Wii U) for £28, and I picked up about a dozen PSone games in my local Shelter for £1.50 each, including black label versions of Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VIII, Resident Evil and Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. |

| WE'RE STUCK ON A WHOLE DIFFERENT PLANETAlso bought the Harper Hall trilogy of Dragonriders of Pern. Turns out you're supposed to read them before The White Dragon, so I hope they don't take forever to arrive as I'm wolfing Dragonquest down ridiculously fast and would hate to be stuck over the christmas period without more Pern. |

| I got Yoshi's New Island off of Tesco Direct the other day for £7.50. It was rubbish at £30, but I think I've got alright value this time. |

| Got these yesterday in Drunka's local game shop, it was nice to see a selection of Wii U games. Still small but still better then most place. It takes me to 68 Wii U games, I did think it was 69 when I bought them. It gives me 70 PAL games to go. |

| Chrono Trigger on the DS. Got it for £15 on Amazon (new) which I thought was good. Turns out Amazon are selling quite a few DS RPG games at decent prices, prices you expect to pay for used copies. |

| Devil's Third fell to £13 on Amazon's Lightning Deals earlier on, so I picked it up. I thought at first that it was going to be one of those peculiar sort of games that kept it's value due to it's relative scarcity, but that was clearly bollocks.
I also picked up Grand Theft Auto on the PSone from Oxfam. I've bought brand new and sealed Wii U games that are in worse condition than this. It's clean and fresh as if it's new; totally unspoilt, and spotless. All the maps were with it too! |

| My purge of the Boxing Day sales didn't really go as expected. I wound up with a Monopoly game on PS4, of all things, as well as copies of Forza Horizon 2, The Walking Dead Season 2, Ultra Street Fighter IV and Aliens Isolation on 360. All a fiver each, and all fantastic trade-in fodder. |

| The picture really doesn't do the Saber figure justice, even from a preliminary look through the box it's a gorgeous figure. Got Trunks because he was cheap and I wanted a change from blond super saiyans and Trunks is easily the most unique Saiyan in the series design wise, also always really liked Future Trunks, probably because I'm a sucker for sword users. |

Traded all of that in and got WWE 2K16 on PS4, £25 in Nintendo eShop credit and Geometry Wars Galaxies on Wii. £25 outlay for £57 worth of stuff. Also found copies of Super Mario Sunshine and The Simpsons Hit & Run on GameCube in Shelter for £1.50 each. |

| Cappa, do you have sources inside these charity shops who keep the good games behind the counter for you? I've no idea how you land all these bargains. Mario Sunshine for £1.50 is ridiculously good. |

Nah. I know a couple of folk who do that (and hoover up the really, really good stuff before it's got the chance to go out onto the shop floor), but for me it's honestly just down to luck and checking their stock fairly often. It's the second copy of Sunshine that I've found for under two quid in the last six weeks. |
