I've bought some uncommon DS games over the last week: Maestro! Jump in Music was a tenner in Games Centre. It must have been old stock - I was suprised to see it, and even more to see it sealed up as new. It's a Spanish copy though. Lomo de minimizar. That Dragon Quest game was part of a '3 for 2' deal in GAME. The other two games - Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom and Go Vacation - have already been punted for a profit, and this'll sold on too - looks like it goes for about £40 on eBay, so that's all good. Enchanted Folk and the School of Wizardry was one that I wanted for ages, but I'd always found it to be too expensive (again about £40). I bought it from an Amazon seller for £6! Just as well to be honest: it's just a rip-off of Animal Crossing: Wild World, but with a Harry Potter theme. It's quite nice in it's own way, but it's nowhere near as good as the proper thing.

I was about to say - Cappa buying a JRPG?! That'll be a tidy profit, though.

You're sitting on a classic there, Cappa. Some gamer out there will be happy to get their hands on a sweet copy of DQV and no mistake. You'll be like the gaming tooth fairy... or something.

I've got a belting collection of DS JRPGS! I've got a couple of Dragon Quest (one's called Joker, with a brown-ish cover, I think?) games, as well as Chrono Trigger. Is that Solotorabo (?) game a JRPG? I've got that too anyway. I'm sure that I've also got a Final Fantasy game somewhere, with a blue cover. I had Golden Sun as well, but that went towards my 3DS in a trade-in. They were all bought cheap, back when I'd buy anything if it was under a fiver. Happy to sell them on for £1,000,000,000,000 though.

I'm pretty sure all the Final Fantasy games on DS had blueish covers, so not entirely sure what one it could be... was it navy blue? It's probably Final Fantasy Tactics A2, and if it is, I'm afraid you've lost yourself a £1,000,000,000,000 sale as I've already got that one.

As for Solatorobo, that's no JRPG, it's a weird action game about throwing shit at bad guys, I can see you quite enjoying it.

I hated it... so you'll probably love it. Characters are JRPG mince though.

| I bought a 32GB Micro SD card as I was sick of having next to no download space on my 3DS. So, to celebrate, I've bought (and I'm currently downloading) Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate and, of course, Spirit of Justice.
...I've caught the hunting bug big time.

Some Dutch liquorice (called 'Schoolkrijt': it's shaped like chalk) and a massive block of Dutch cheese (I think they're called 'truckles' of cheese). Very nice.

Marijuana, mostly in cake form. Word of advice: edibles take a while to have an effect, so don't just gobble them up like they're nothing because you'll have a horrible, weird trip the rest of the night.

Thinking there'd be nothing out, I went to check the new DVD and Blu-Ray releases in the old Sainsbury's yesterday - always yesterday - and was surprised to see S2 of The Flash. I now own a copy of same on Blu-Ray.

If there is one thing you take away from life, take away this fact of the world: CUTENESS. IS. JUSTICE.That cd cover is such a troll given the series ending. If you want a happy ever after go watch Game of Thrones. Also the Fates soundtrack is eight discs long. EIGHT DISCS LONG! The largest game ost I've ever bought, and I've bought some hefty ones in the past, but most of them clock in at four discs. To be expected though, given it's technically three games worth of music. Well, two, Revelation had about three unique themes, the rest was almost entirely carried over from Birthrout and Conquest. Still a looooot of music!

I got a figure of Carnage, after seeing him cheap on eBay. I've decided the symbiote lads are closer to Peter Parker than the likes of Miguel Ohara, so they can be added into my collection of Spideys without setting me down the slippery slope of buying all the villains.

Really blimmin complicated massive. It's got a big anime storyline too, just to really pish on my chips. ~ Good finds down at Cash Generator this morning, where I got Skylanders Spyro's Adventure on 3DS for a quid, Ratatouille and XMen Origins Wolverine on Wii for 25p apiece, and - AWWWWW YEAH - the Devil May Cry HD Collection on 360 for another quid. |
