| Yakuza 0 looks immense. A proper throwback SEGA title that isn't ashamed to be a game - a bit of a more lighthearted Shenmue if you will (I fear Shenmue 3 may lack some SEGA zaniness). I'm going to try and pick that up myself soon, by similarly trading in a bunch of games that I want to like, but simply don't and never will (Witcher 3 being one). I've just not got the patience for open-world games these days. Mas, you'll have to let me know if Yakuza 0 is open-world or if it is more like Shenmue (smaller areas that are densely packed with content/characters).
I'm also looking at getting in to the Resident Evil series and I'm weighing up whether to spend a tenner on Gamecube Resi Remake and Resi Zero, or twice that for the Origins collection on PS4. Are they the perfect starting point? Not sure when Resi 2 Remake is imminent... |

| Well Andy should be able to tell if it's open-world or small areas, but he's not played Shenmue that he won't be able to compare the games. Shame about Witcher 3 but one of the reasons I've not gone back to it is due to how big it is and it is just a bit to daunting, I liked what I played form the first hour or so.
On Resident Evil
ReMake 2 nothing has been shown that I doubt its coming anytime soon.
Zero and ReMake are of course the perfect starting points, Zero is a little strange as a lot didn't like it back in the day but now its well loved but like the Star Wars prequels, I don't know if you need to play it first or not. As I feel a lot went to play it to find-out, what happened to a character that was in One and playing Zero first may spoil stuff.
£10 for both Zero and ReMake on Cube seems cheap but you will get tank controls, however the Cube is also home to RE2, RE3, Code and RE4 also you could play Gaiden thanks to GBA Player. But basically it has all the best Resident Evils on but you could be playing them on Wii, which you does have Wii ports of Zero and ReMake but I've got no idea on the controls scheme on them but if you want to get into the series, you can play all the Cube games and the on-rail shooters as well on Wii.
Now the PS4 versions, I have played ReMake HD as it was part of Plus one month, it looks great but I still think it looks good on Cube, it has trophies and it has a modern control scheme which I didn't use as Tank Controls 4 Life.
The other thing about the PS4 you can play Zero, ReMake HD, RE4 HD, RE5 HD (just about playable), RE6 HD (why would you want to play this), RE7, Revelations 2 and I think Code HDish and The Umbrella Chronicles HDish via PSNOW which does also have RE4 HDish, RE5 and RE6, Operation Racoon City, and I think Revelations.
I do have one question though do you have a PS2? As that is the best option as you can play RE1, RE1DC, RE2, RE3, RE4, Survivor, Survivor 2, Dead Aim, Code, Outbreak, Outbreak File #2 |

| I just timed myself walking from the bottom of the map to the top and it took just over a minute, so it's not the huge sprawling open world of the RPG, as Mas said I've not played Shenmue, but I'd imagine it's similar. There's also a fast travel from top to bottom, so you're not about to be doing that trip very often anyway. |

| Picked these bad boys up - Spoiler:
Mas I don't have a PS2 - I have an OG Xbox that has decided to lose sound (possible cable issue) but pretty sure Resident Evil shambled past that system. I'm focusing my energy on Wii and PS4 for now but I'm still unsure how I feel about the first Resi. I never feel like I'm enjoying it. Funny story - the copy of Xenoblade is the one I traded in at least 3 years ago (was an ex library copy). |

| I was wondering, what that sticker was on Xenoblade.
Yeah Resident Evil has stumbled past the PS2 but I still feel that was the best place for Resident Evil, but totally get focusing on one or two systems as I'm doing that myself.
If you want to talk Resident Evil, then we've got a thread. |

| I'm more shocked to learn Starcraft 64 was a thing than I am to see CEX trying to skin people for it. |

It'd do gangbusters if they released it now. |

Yes! 'SKA' stands for 'Shovel Knight Amiibo'! What a devilish trickster I am.

Anyway that's a fine purchase zero & I have to say SK is my favourite amiibo as far as overall design goes. |

| Of course you do Jas. Anyway, I picked up some Pokémon terraria recently. They're pretty cute! A friend got a Wartortle, the girlfriend got a Sylevon, and I got a sparkly purple Espeon in exchange. |

| I did it guys. I bought TWEWY, with money, it came in a tiny little cart holder thing so no pretty box to show for it but play it over the weekend. I still can't believe it's here, there's a peculiar eeriness to buying a game that I have put off literally forever. |

| £55 in Sainsburys, punted for £134 this afternoon. Fair enough if you call me a dirty scalper, but look at it from my perspective: am I fuck paying £280 cash for a Switch. |

| They had a few of them mainly the LEGO ones in the Sainsburys near me, I should go back at somepoint but not getting a signal in the store is a bit of a pain. |

| LEGO Avengers was the only LEGO game that you'd be making a decent profit on (£13 trade in from a fiver, IIRC). Otherwise, on PS3 and 360 at least, besides the Minceraft games (£10ish) and Rise of the Tomb Raider (£14...?) you'd be as well just keeping the money in your pocket. |

| That's what I sort of thought and why I left them all behind, also not like I'm missing loads for getting a Switch as I've now got £482 paid off. |

| Big fan of those Japanese GameCube boxes and the cardboard sleeves. Nice and compact, and looking really smart too. ~ Just this yesterday. One of the last Wii games that I wanted to try, and it came with all the figures (even the Bowser amiibo ) |
