| Oh I agree 100%, but I'm still cocking up the controls at the moment so I want to get them down before I go online. |

| Skylanders Superchargers on Wii U for £21 on Amazon is the last 'big' thing I bought, though I've been quite lucky in charity shops lately, finding a sealed copy of Skate 3 on PS3 for £3, and - strangely - two seperate copies of Super Mario Galaxy in two seperate charity shops for £1.99 apiece. |

| Actually, given the smells that filter into my flat all too regularly, I probably inhale more than I'd like.
Please tell me you know what plant that actually is, though. |

| I used to get NGC all the time.
Today I picked up in a Cashconverters for £10 Super Hang-On 96 for Saturn, Gauntlet Legends & Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness for the N64.
The last two I will be eBaying and will be getting around £50 for which is yay.
Also I don't talk about downloads I get as I find it a it weird but just got Alpha Protocol, Tembo the Badass Elephant and one of SEGA's best games Valkyria Chronicles all for £8 of STEAM thanks to the recent SEGA promotion which has given me 12 games for £8.
Will I actually play them unlikely as VC is coming to PS4 where I will happily pay £40 just to play on a console in a ecosystem I like and that they might bring 2, 3 and Azure to the West. |

| Some of those early NGC's were brilliant - the enthusiasm that they had for the GameCube is undeniable. The final one - Issue 120(?) - has a brilliant N64/NGC retrospective that, for me, is the best thing that was ever in the magazine.
~
I've got close to 200 PAL N64 games, and those are two I've yet to pick up. I don't think I've even seen Gauntlet Legends out in the wild before, so well found. |

| And people say I've got a lot of games for my retro system of choice. Are you going for a complete set Cappa as only 242 PAL N64 games, I would be up for a swap / trade if you got anything good Cappa.
These are carts only. |

| I've never intentionally gone for a full N64 set, it's just a console that I really like. If I was collecting, it helped when Gamestation were doing three carts for a fiver, and then eventually all N64 games for a quid. Since that ended (about a decade ago), I've just bought stuff I've liked the look or sound of.
I might be up for trading - PM me if you've got anything in mind!

| I remember when GameStation was doing lot's of Retro deals like 3 for 2 or something and that along with having my shop / stall at the time , my collection became big as I kept anything I didn't have.
Then GS started to sort of stop doing it. I remember buying a bundle of PS1 games for like £55 and it had all the Final Fantasy's, SOTN, Wild Arms etc and they knew how much they worth but just couldn't be bothered to buy and sell there self's.
Also got my second Virtual Boy cheap because of GameStation, the thing that also annoyed was different stores didn't things. That when I went to Yeovil tore they had loads of retro, that I had like £200 worth retro picked up and at the time my locals were doing BOGOF that was why I picked so much. Which I was then told they didn't do BOGOF and I just left it on the side.
You should go for a complete set Cappa even if just carts as your so close Cappa, I don't know what your missing if there is anything rare / expensive like a Conker, Flying Dragon, Resident Evil 2 etc.
I will PM you. |

I'd like to make an online archive of all the NGamer family magazines, even if it's just the reviews. Not sure on the legalities behind it as it is writer's work, but given how none of them are available online other than in full PDF scans, it may be useful for future reference. - The Cappuccino Kid wrote:

I might be up for trading - PM me if you've got anything in mind! Do it. The N64 carts just get more and more valuable, and the games still play best on that legendary controller. I tried once and got to 30 carts, but needed money and sold up. Have you looked at the Universal Game Case for storage? They do some nice covers over at thecoverproject.net . |

| I'm at the stage where I've bought just about everything that I want, and that includes NTSC stuff too. Even if I wanted to collect, I'd be looking for stuff like Madden '99, StarCraft 64 and Aidyn Chronicles: The First Mage, and that's expensive pish.
I'm not that far off of a full set, right enough, but with the exception of Paper Mario, Resident Evil 2, possibly the two games mas has just bought and maybe the odd other one, there's nowt that I'd actually like to own.
