Yesterday I Bought II: Many Things

That's fair! It'll be my first exposure to the game outside of watching part of a Let's Play yonks ago, so I've no real memory of the game to tarnish, I suppose.

I am probably going to start updating this thread with a lot of the gaming purchases I have made. But here's two I made recently that I wanted to share.



amiibo Festival is a game I just wasn't going to buy, but after playing it at my friends house with two others it felt quite charming and I enjoyed unlocking more content to play with. I picked this up new for £34.99 which was the best price I had seen for it.



While I already have Donkey Konga, these games are going to eventually become fairly hard to find. I have an extra set of bongos that I picked up years ago boxed new from Gamestation (99p) so for less than £2 I could introduce them to this amazingly fun game!

I so want to play Donkey konga again but here the games are either non existent or really expensive

I've still got Donkey Konga somewhere. It's the bongos that I'm missing. I remember trying to play SSBM on those things... fun times.

I've got 3 sets of Bongos, I do want a 4th set and my Donkey Konga isn't the big box unlike my Donkey Konga 2 & Jungle Beat that it would be handy to get a big box complete Donkey Konga.

Oh wow tell me more about the DS Lite :O

It's a Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Special Edition DS Lite, which I paid £30 to go alongside my Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap GBA SP and my Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask 3D New 3DS.

As you may of guessed I like Zelda.

Yeah of course! I remember seeing one a long time ago but I had forgotten it was a thing. I didn't think there was an official DS Lite that was Zelda themed.

It's the only one they did unlike with the 3DS which there are 4 Zelda consoles also one of the cheapest at a going rated of around £30 unboxed but I found someone that does repo boxes on etsy that I may get a box for the DS Lite & GBA SP.

Moar Doctor Who, soon I shall have it all!  




So, now I just need Ten's finale, series 7 and Eleven's final two specials, and Twelve's two series. Just under two thirds done!

I also ordered cheap copies of Majora's Mask on 3DS and Terraria on XBox One from Amazon yesterday as I'm a dirty trader bastart.

That Majora's Mask price on Amazon is a steal.

The books weighed a absolute ton walking them home from the post office, worth it though.  I'm a sucker for nice box sets.  




The observant will probably note I actually already bought the first book a while back and might wonder what I did with it.  Tempted though I was to donate it to the local library they don't take books pre-2009 no matter what the book is (stupid policy honestly, if someone's offering them a near mint copy of a well liked book they don't have you'd think they'd take the thing, especially when their current selection is so lacking of modern classics.  Or classics at all really. Oh well, their loss).  

It found a place with a bookworm I know instead.

I really enjoyed those books, I failed to find anything anywhere near as good to read after them though and quickly lapsed into my non-reading ways.

This is the first time I'm hearing of them, so maybe I'll give them a go.

The cover of the box set reminds me off Unfinished Swan, my new phone came today which I didn't buy as was a contract upgrade.
